Startup time after installing SP2
My computer's startup is extremely slow since updating to SP2. The speed of the rest of my computer seems normal. The connection on my wireless internet card is also not as strong since upgrading. Any ideas on how to fix this?

No luck!Reply - Also this: http://forums.net-integration.net/index.php?showtopic=25762 Google has a copious amount of references to your problem. You will have to sort out which one pertains in your situation.

So far none of the solutions worked. However, I did notice something weird in my device manager. My Processor is listed twice. Is this supposed to be? Doesn't seem like it.Reply - Do you have a hyperthreading processor? If you do it will show up twice in device manager. Please see this thread: http://forums.us.dell.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=sw_svcpacks&message.id=326&view=by_date_ascending&page=5. Check out pages 4 and 5 in reference to the two processors. I will try to find other solutions for you.

I also thought that fix only applied to Inspiron 1150's.Reply realhiphopp

Not really sure if thats the case. How would I know if I had a hyperthreading processor? I actually checked that thread yesterday to no avail.Reply
