Which Windows Version?

Hi

I bought a Dell XPS 13 last month (it is sent in to be swapped because of an error). I was wondering which WIndows version it had. It just said Windows 8.1 (no pro mentioned) in the Control Panel -> System - but in Explorer it said [BitLocker] next to the main drive. Bitlocker is a WIndows 8.1 pro feature.

Any idea if it is a Windows 8.1 (Standard), Windows 81 PRO or something custom?

And will it be upgradeable to Win 10 free of charge?

    psnabe,

It is more than likely Windows 8.1 and  not 8.1 pro unless u specifically ordered the pro version. The word is that 8.1 will receive the windows 10 upgrade when it is released.

I din't have any option to select the OS when I ordered the computer. What confuses me is that it says Bitlocker next to the main drive. Bitlocker is not a Windows 8.1 standard feature.
