Why is it that Dell does not offer graphics, audio, or chipset drivers for upgrading to windows 7 64-bit. What kind of support is that? Can Dell please answer this.
Let me say this again, you don't need drivers from Dell for upgrades. Just about all the drivers will be on the upgrade disk and what isn't there will be on the manufactures web site, or else they don't exist and never will Except for wife's laptop, all my Dell PCs for the last ten years have been loaded from exclusively from Microsoft Retail Disks.
If you were to check, using the device manager, you would see almost driver were from Microsoft. I have yet to see an actual Dell driver. If you were to actually check the drivers on the Dell download page, are not from Dell but ATI and NVIDIA for graphics, LSI for SAS controllers and Intel for chipsets.
What system? It completely depends on the system in question. Dell does not supply drivers that are "native" to Windows 7. Some Intel onboard graphics do not support Windows 7 at all; Intel cannot make it work, so Dell cannot make it work.
If you guys have already had some sort of conversation, why start another thread?! Given completely out of context, it's no wonder your posts don't make any sense.
