Windows Mail

My windows mail is not functioning properly. I can receive emails in, but when I go to send them they sit in the outbox and never leave. Does anyone have a fix for this??

    Make sure the SMTP Server setting are correct. If so try deleting the e-mail account then setting it up new.

    Did you get a usable solution to this?  I am having the same trouble and I have deleted and reset my account and the server is set correctly.  It is so frustrating, isn't it!!

    MS was supposed to have a Windows Update to fix this...no clue if any of the ones out now do...my guess is no.
