so my desktop computer went down, so i decided to reinstall windows xp. everything went good. but now i cant connect to the internet. i went to the dell website and downloaded all the drivers i needed, because my driver and utility disc was unreadable. so i burnt the drivers to a disc and installed them on the desktop computer. the little symbol with the two computers is now at the bottom, but it still wont connect. says network cable unplugged, even though the Ethernet cable is plugged into the computer to the router. all the other computers seem to work fine on wireless. any ideas? i did a cmd prompt ipconfig /all and got

ip routing enabled....:no

wins proxy enabled....:no

eathernet adapter local area connection:

media state....: meidia disconnected

description....:  intel(r) pro/100 ve network connection

checked device manager, and i dont see any ? or !

any ideas the service tag is [Amin Note: Service Tag Edited per TOU policy]  

any help would be great
