I have a Dell Dimension 2400 with 256MB memory.  I have upgraded to a 1GB with Dell Memory.  I have also attempted to upgrade the XP Home to the XP PRO.  When loading the upgrade to the system the progression shows "Collecting Information", "Dynamic Update", "Preparing Installation", "Installing Windows" with 39 minutes remaining.  The system then goes to a blue screen with the message:

BAD_POOL_CALLER    Stop:  0X000000c2 (OX00000007, 0x00000CD4, 0x00340045, 0xE11605B4  Physical Memory Dump.  After several attempts I resorted to reinstalling the XP Home which was successful.  I then reloaded the drivers and replaced the original 256MB memory back into the machine and once again attempted the XP Pro upgrade and received the same errors.  Now I am back to square one!

Any answers out there in tech land?  :smileysad:
