I have a problem with the upgrade of XP Pro on a Dimension 4400 that has XP Home. The Homr version camr from the Dell factory loaded.
Has anybody had the same issur?
Main error is the cdr4_xp.SYS

Can you get into XP at all, even with Safe Mode?
I think this is a CD ROM Driver error. If you can get in, try reinstalling the driver, or go to manufacturers site and look for an updated one.
