I am currently on BIOS version 1.32.0 for my desktop XPS 8950. When checking DellAssist for updates and downloads, it says I'm up to date. However, when clicking on "Find other drivers for your system" it is showing Bios version 1.33.0.
- Anyone know why that version isn't showing when doing a normal check for updates?
My personal usage on all of my Dell computers. I do not use software to check for drivers. I rely on a manual check of the generic computer model Drivers & Downloads page.

I do not rely on checking for updates since it takes time to scan and may not always be aware of the latest changes.
I maintain a table of the drivers for my service tag which lists the driver title, importance, version, and release date (one row per driver) and matches the order that drivers are displayed by default in Drivers and Downloads - sorted by release date. See attached image for a partial example.
I check the Drivers and Downloads for my XPS 8950's service tag every few days by clicking on a web link saved for that page. When the order, version or date of items in Drivers and Downloads becomes different from my existing list, I know there has been a driver update. I then download and manually install the driver that has changed and update the position (row/order), version, and release date of the affected driver in the table so it matches Drivers and Downloads and is up-to-date. Normally the items that have changed will go to the top of the list since the list from Drivers and Downloads is sorted by release date in descending order. I don't delete the previous versions and dates of a driver, leaving a version history of each driver. I also highlight the versions and dates of the recent updates.
I record the date I last reviewed or updated the table against Drivers and Downloads so that I know that last time I verified that my drivers were all up-to-date.
