I have a XPS 15 7590 which, for months now has been suffering from occasional screen flashing affecting ONLY the left hand 1/3, maybe 1/2, of the 4k screen.

It seems to be entirely unpredictable in nature, can sometime run for ages without any problems, then I'll get left-hand side flashing randomly, maybe several times a minute, which doesn't seem to stop.

I usually run my system at minimum brightness which I suspect might make the problem more evident, but I'm trying now at higher brightness to confirm.

Anyone seen anything like this before?
