XPS 9310 CPU Performance throttling with a cool CPU
Hi, anyone had this problem? When i tray to run heavy load (like compile a program) the CPU seem to lock at 1.5 GHz and half of his power. Anyone knows how to solve this?
I saw this comment, but it doesn't have solved the problem

Also open Supportassist > Troubleshooting > I want to troubleshooting my PC > Scan a specific piece of hardware > processor
This will put CPU to it's full load. If the same issue happens during the test.
1. BIOS update if not already up to date. In BIOS : Disable Intel Speedstep and enable Intel Turbbo boost.
2. Release charge (Press hold power button for 30 seconds. Try next one
3. Disconnect the main battery from the motherboard and perform Step 2 again.
4. You can also try third-party apps like Throttlestop
Last one is replace CPU (entire motherboard)
