XPS 9710 Factory Image
In the past, working in IT, Dell systems came with a Factory reset DVD/CD set. I know there is a Support Assist installation but that just installs Windows 10. I am actually looking for an image that includes all the original Dell software but also has a working version of DMC. I had it working with the original install, but for some reason it gave me a bitlocker error (see a previous post) and after a reinstall it seems the recovery partition is completely overwritten by the install from Support Assist Recovery. I am missing some things that I thought important when I first unpacked the laptop 10 days ago. I understand that I can build my own install USB using Dell OS Recovery, it does not incorporate the software additions from the first install.
It might be an odd request, but pretty please?

2 ways I know of.
1. Create the Recovery Drive before you erase or mess with it. IIRC, after it's use ... it then boots to First-Time setup again.
2. Image system after doing First Time Setup. After it's restore, I think you might even be able to use one of the built-in Windows-10 "Reset" features.
But at this point ... use as is or clean-install Windows-10 and rebuild to your liking. I suggest you then Image it (to a file, with Verify on) with Macrium Reflect or similar.

The Dell OEM version operating system that was shipped from Dell is called, "Dell OS Recovery Tool".
