AW2720HF AlienFX effect: spectrum not turning back on after AW2720HF entering PSM (power saving mode). Had to manually pressing power off button and on, to get the AlienFX effect back on.
Make sure it is not in Hibernation which is automatic when sleep is longer than usual. That require a brief press of the power button to wake and takes a little longer and looks like a reboot, but isn't. You can change settings or disable it in Power Options, Advanced settings, your Power Plan. Also check Hybrid Settings.
