13 R3, LCD glitches

Hi, on boot and shutdown my laptop screen 'glitches', it hasn't caused my any issues just has me concerned there is an issue with the GPU. I have uninstalled Nvidia graphics drivers and done a new clean install but the issue is still there. It is also running the latest 1.9 BIOS, any ideas what it could be or how I could resolve it?

Make sure you did not install Nvidia drivers. All drivers are customized by Dell and rarely get updated. Reinstall all your original Dell drivers. https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/product-support/product/alienware-13-laptop/drivers

@Mary G I was using Nvidia drivers, I uninstalled it using ddu and installed the nvidia driver for the 1060 from that list of dell drivers but the issue is still there.

Your Display might be Faulty because If the GPU works perfectly fine when being connected to an external monitor, it has to be the display as the GPU is working perfectly fine.

Quick Tip: If your laptop has voltage / charging issues, try shutting it down, unplugging power from laptop, hold power button down for 30 seconds to do a full reset!
