While I was playing a game the keys (qruj167) stopped working, sometimes they come back while I am playing a demanding game and if I quit the game while the keys are working the keys keep working until I try to play a demanding game again. But they won't work until I start a demanding game either. I tried the keyboard on the BIOS and the keys don't work there. Ran some diagnostics but they didn't pick up any issue. Any idea what the problem could be?
Could be that the Actual keyboard membrane is damaged in some sort of way but it could also be that after 5 years the keyboard starts dying out. Thats what happened to my 15 r2 and it then proceeded to make all the keys not work.

Quick Tip: If your laptop has voltage / charging issues, try shutting it down, unplugging power from laptop, hold power button down for 30 seconds to do a full reset!
Yeah, I think it did its time, but it is weird that it comes back sometimes during high temp games, maybe it is fixable. Did you replace the keyboard yourself or you still had dell warranty on your laptop?
Mine was an older laptop that's warranty expired 4 years ago. I had to replace it myself but need was it easy.
