Alienware 15 R4 integrated webcam not working
The LED which shows the status of integrated webcam is on but the capture area is just black. And the device manager says the device and driver are both work properly. Hardware defective?

Hi @Wei Wei Wei,
Try by reinstalling the webcam driver.
And yes, this could be hardware related but we need to discard any software related issues. Send me a private message with the Service Tag so I can review your case.
