Client download page empty
Hi,
i installed Avamar VE 7.3 for the first time. The setup worked and the appliance works fine.
Im able to do vmware backups.
Where can i find the clients for my Windows Servers and their applications? The Download page on the
Avamar node just offer the Administration console, dowload Service and a Java setup.

The Client Downloads are not Drag and drop into the AvInstaller's /data01/avamar/repo/packages directory.
Once you put the Client Downloads into the directory you must log into the AvInstaller to initiate its operation.
Only the Client Installers will run automatically when dropped into the directory.
The Client Downloads upgrades the client kit in the download pages of the server.
The Client Installers seed the GSAN with deduped images of the Clients do the Client manager can assist in upgrading the client software on the clients.

The client downloads are now packaged separately from the installer. You will need to download the "client downloads" AVP package and install it:
Avamar 7.3.101-125

The procedure is pretty quick and painless. Just drop the AVP package into /data01/avamar/repo/packages (or use the Avamar Downloader Service) and install it through the Avamar Installer GUI.
