clz

we have a ns-80 aht I need to re-IP. It's not in production, no data involved.

I have a primus ID: emc216980 and it says to run the /nas/sbin/clariion_mgmt commands.

clariion_mgmt -info returns proxy arp stopped. How do I restart it?

I do have a SR open but they through it to the field and my ce isn't responding.

[root@tg-pecs11 nasadmin]# /nas/sbin/clariion_mgmt -info Public IP address for SPA: 10.163.150.22 Public IP address for SPB: 10.163.150.23

Start on boot : yes

Current implementation : Proxy-ARP

Status : Stopped

[root@tg-pecs11 nasadmin]#

I'm not sure the Stopped Info is correct - on my lab systems that work perfectly well with proxy-arp it also says sometimes "Status Stopped" and later "Status Started" when I didnt do any changes

    that shouldnt be the case

you can try a -stop and -start

otherwise I think local support has to look into it

also, I have tried navicli commands to both sp's. spa times out, where spb replies.

    [root@tg-pecs11 nasadmin]# /nas/sbin/navicli -h 10.163.150.22 getagent
A network error occurred while trying to connect: '10.163.150.22'.
Message : Error occurred because of time out

thanks for the responses. I went into spa via the mgmt port and the network interface connection settings:

    Requested Speed Settings is: N/A

    Link Status: Link Down

seems like an issue on SPA so I have a field engineer dispatching.
