I am starting work on a CX4-240 that currently has eight DAE's with the following enclosure ID's:

Bus 0 Enclosure 0

Bus 0 Enclosure 1

Bus 0 Enclosure 2

Bus 0 Enclosure 5

Bus 1 Enclosure 0

Bus 1 Enclosure 1

Bus 1 Enclosure 2

Bus 1 Enclosure 6

Obviously the last DAE on each bus has had its enclosure ID incorrectly set (it should be Bus 0 Enclosure 3 and Bus 1 Enclosure 3). I am required to add 8 more DAE's to this system, but I am concerned that the incorrect enclosure ID's will cause problems. I have not been able to locate any KB articles that explain what to do in this scenario.

Is it possible to add the 8 DAEs to the system (4 more on each bus), with the remaining enclosure IDs given that I will need to connect lower ID enclosures to the higher ID enclosure?

i.e

Bus 0 Enclosure 5 would daisy to Bus 0 Enclosure 3

Would this work?
