    Hello 1leks,

That DP/N: RHVWG is a server HDD and will not be seen by your SCv2000.  All drives that will go into a Compellent system need to have Compellent firmware on them otherwise they will not work.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

You should go through Dell Sales to purchase this and verify it is the correct model for your system since SC20x0 use both 2.5 and 3.5 inch disks depending upon the model. Refer to the Owners Manual: https://topics-cdn.dell.com/pdf/storage-sc2000_owners-manual_en-us.pdf

The system I looked at actually had part number 8D1V4 Model ST6000NM0034 which is a 6 TB SAS Disk like the model ST6000NM0095 you were asking about.

Does 8D1V4 come with a caddy suitable for the SCV2000 already? and if not, should the 72CWN caddy be ordered separately?

    Cheers,

    David

    Hi David,

It does not come with a caddy and caddies cannot be ordered separately, the best option is to contact sales and order a kit that has both.
