Problem detecting network firmware

Good day,

I'm discovering/inventoring my blades using WS-MAN. OME manages to detect the hardware portion of my blade (2 x Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet & 2 x Intel Ethernet X520 10Gbe Dual Port) but it can't detect any of the firmware versions.

I'm using the 10Gbe port for network access. In our chassis, we have 2 x PowerConnect 8024-K for our 10Gbe uplinks to our switch and  2 x Gigabit Ethernet pass-through for the Boradcom ports.

I upgraded to iDRAC 3.35 and LifeCycle Controller 1.5.2

What would prevent iDRAC to detect the firmware versions?

Thanks

    Hi Jayuqo80,

After discovery/inventory of your blades, do you see "Software Inventory Info" under "All Devices -> RAC" for any of the devices listed here ? If not, right click on the device and select "Refresh Inventory".

If you still do not see "Software inventory info", check "Issues and Resolutions" tab under Manage -> System Updates. It should indicate a reason and provide a recommendation.

    Thanks,

    Raj Shresta

    Raj,

The "Software Inventory Info" section shows up with the firmware versions of several components such as the BIOS, LCC, iDRAC but still no sign of the NICs' firmware version for neither my Intel 10Gbe or my Broadcom Gigabit. This section was there even before I refreshed the Inventory though.

    Any ideas?

Forgot to mention that there's nothing under the "Issues and Resolutions tab"
