DCIP not creating CCTK package

I'm testing DCIP as a replacement to DCDP.  In the past when I've installed DCDP it automatically created the Dell CCTK package in the SCCM console.  I uninstalled DCDP on my test server and then installed DCIP.  The DCIP install did not create the CCTK package in the console as I expected.

Now, when I try to create a new Dell baremetal task sequence with DCIP installed it fails because it says there is no CCTK package in the console.  Am I supposed to import a CCTK package or manually add one with DCIP?

Thanks,

Eric Giroux

    Hi Eric,

The use of CCTK has changed with DCIP.  The guidance is to use Self Contained Executables in your task sequences.

Refer to Section “Importing Dell Client Packages”  Importing CCTK Packages…

    in the documentation

Let me know if that doesn't answer your question.

    Thanks,
