No USB Keyboard/Mouse - SCCM - OptiPlex 7040

Good Afternoon,

I am trying to deploy Windows 7 to Optiplex 7040 using SCCM 2012, I have downloaded the CAB and imported the drivers, i have also injected the Ethernet Drivers and it is booting to WinPE fine.

At this point i am being asked for my SCCM Build password but the USB Keyboard/Mouse are working.

I have tried adding and removing the USB drivers from the CAB to the boot image but to no avail.

Any advise?

    I added all the physical drivers from the CAB and removed all other USB drivers to make this work.

    Hi Rainey,


    Can you tell me which network drivers you injected to get it to work. seems like I can't find the correct ones.

    Do you plan to deploy Windows 10?  ethernet does not work out of the box, if you are curious.  Injecting the drivers into the boot.wim doesn't work.  FYI
