We have a VMWare data center running ESXi 5.5 with 4 hosts, 10-15 VMs on each host, and 2 EqualLogic PS6100's. We are moving our Hosts, PS6100's, switches, etc. to a new hosting facility soon. I think I have the proper procedure for shutting down the vms and hosts but am not sure when and how to shut down the datastores.

Is it as simple as once the vms and hosts are powered off to simply power down the EqualLogics, move all the equipment to the new facility, and then power on the EqualLogics and then the rest of the equipment?
