HDD RPM
Hi,
We have a Power Edge R710 server with PERC 6/i conttroller and 600GB SAS HDD at 15000 RPM. Now we want to
improve storage capacity without losing data. Is it comfortable to add a 2TB SAS disc at 7500 RPM. will Different RPM discs
work on RAID. If yes please let me know. If no what could be the compatibility issues.

You can use the SATA drives safely. They are slower and cannot be mixed with the SAS drives in the same array. The take away is slower read\write times.
