Having this same issue particularly when video meeting in progress. Starting a second chat totally blows things up.

I purchased the laptop around 16 hours ago. When a Teams call is going on, the laptop hangs. It does not even allow to move cursor. Only option is hard reset using power button. It hung thrice. Then, I had to switch to mobile app. Feeling so much frustrated. 

When contacted customer support, they asked me to re-install the Teams. Waiting to see what happens tomorrow.

Configuration: Ryzen3, 8GB RAM, 256 SSD HD

Contacted Microsoft service desk. They deleted certain temporary files from PC. It is working now apparently. So far, had meeting not exceeding 1hr and never faced any issue post the temporary files deletion. Unfortunately, forgot to take a snapshot of the path of the temporary files.
