I also could not find any information in the EMC website regarding the Celestica D2024 switches.
Correct me if I am wrong but my understanding of "pre-configured" is that it is factory-configured, and that user configuration on the switch is not possible. Also, in terms terms of functionality, it is like the infiniband switch.
If the above is not correct? 1. Can the configuration file be backed up in case of replacement? 2. Can the switch be accessed to run any commands? 3. Do I need a license to operate the switch?
Thanks for your question. It is preconfigured and any changes need to be done by phone support. Backup should be part of the cluster backup. There are commands that support can use if troubleshooting is required.
Can you provide me with documents to deepen my understanding of the product? I am talking about installation guide, configuration and management guide and also the command reference guide for the operating system.
@jessieobioma , they are like the infiniband backend switches, they are considered black boxes. So they do not have any thing that you are talking about.
I am talking about installation guide, configuration and management guide and also the command reference guide for the operating system.
