I wonder does Isilon implemented the Recycler Folder functionality? If a user deletes a file, it remains under recycle folder in folder represented by the name or SID of the user.
OneFS does not have any Recycle Folder functionality. If your client supports this functionality over a network protocol by renaming files or by moving them, then we would likely support that as the actual delete to OneFS would look like a move or rename.
This was asked by a customer (not Isilon currently) because this functionality exists by Windows Servers. To be exact using Windows 7 clients is it possible to configure Recycle Folder? Is it on the roadmap, maybe?
