Node calculation on Isilon
Need to upgrade resolution from 1280 x 720 with a 15 days retention to 2048 x 1536 resolution with 30 days retention policy
Current 4-node X200 48 TB Isilon cluster with 65% utilization for video surveillance operations
Since resolution is double, the data will be double - 65% of 48TB is 32TB and double is 64TB. In order to meet the required changes and not exceed 70% raw capacity, I would add another two nodes and still at 50%.
Please let me know your calculation. I would like to see if I am right.

Your frame size is not double. It's 3.4x larger. And, you haven't told us what your codec is.
I replied to another post of yours here with some calculators you should check out to make sure you're going to have enough space for your content. I hope that helps!
