Bluetooth switch

Hi I have dell inspiron 6400, and I wanted to use bluetooth in fedora 8, but device is not detected, even with pressing Fn+F2 In windows when I enable the bluetooth, and go back to linux, I can use it without any problem, but I can not enable/disable it again in fedora. Using dellWirelessCtrl proves unsuccesfull with this error msg: An Error occurred. The Error message is: Could not open file /sys/devices/platform/dcdbas/smi_data. Check that dcdbas driver is properly loaded. And even when I load the dcdbas driver with modprobe dcdbas, this error occures: An Error occurred. The Error message is: BIOS returned error for SMI call. What can I do?

I have the same problem, except for the wifi switch, not the bluetooth switch.
