Brand new XPS 13 DE failed on initial Ubuntu setup
My brand new XPS13 DE initial Ubuntu setup terminated after it failed to connect to my WiFi AP. I can now only log into a guest account. How can I resume the initial setup?
Did this happen during a clean install or during the first logon?
I had the same issue with a clean install, which always got stuck after the Wifi setup. I finally tried an image of Ubuntu Gnome, which installed without any issues whatsoever. I can only recommend Ubuntu Gnome, which performs really well. If you don't want to use the Gnome shell you can install Unity afterwards to get the normal Ubuntu experience.
