I experienced this issue a while ago with my Dell XPS 13 (http://www.dell.com/support/troubleshooting/us/en/19/KCS/KcsArticles/ArticleView?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&docid=590117) and even this issue (https://bugs.launchpad.net/dell-sputnik/+bug/1085572) didn't fix the problem.

If I change the brightness the value in /sys/class/backlight/acpi_video0/dell_backlight/brightness stays at 0 while the value in /sys/class/backlight/intel_backlight/brightness is changing accordingly. However, nothing happens whatsoever with the actual screen brightness. I changed some values according to some forum posts online but nothing worked so far (e.g. modifying /etc/X11/xorg.conf).

What files do I need to look at to fix this and what should be in there?

PS: I saw in the article mentioned above that it might be linked to the Bluetooth issue because I'm having this too.
