Download GPU-Z and take a look at the PCIe config. also check out the sensors menu while running the game. Clock, Temp, Power....

Also check your Windows Power Settings.

Yep, that's 16 frames per second which is repeated in Battlefield 1. I've removed and reinstallled the nVidea drivers just in case, but no change.

The 1080 is active so not running the Intel GPU.

Yeah, I'm not sure that's how you do it (since I've never had one of those in front of me).

Sounds like an awesome build though. I would at least call Phone Support and let them help you make sure everything got installed and configured properly.

Stuff like is it in High Performance Mode, that game's EXE is using the right GPU, not over-heating or throttling ... you know, stuff like that.
Also, some of these enhanced driver suites sometimes don't install quite right during Windows-10 First Time Setup. Pretty easy to fix though. Maybe even a default BIOS setting not quite right.
 
Would be a shame to send it back over a driver or setting (at least I think so).

If it's 4K, your rig usually is set up with 250% magnification by windows and when you start up a game in windowed mode, it kills the FPS!! The thing with For Honor for me!! Either full screen the game or use external monitor or reduce the resolution to FHD and magnification to 100%.

You can use MSI Afterburner and RivaTuner Statistics Server for checking out the status of your GPU.

Also, check if you have enabled Desktop Mode Battery Charge during gameplay. It disconnects the power when power reaches to 100% battery and then switches to batter power mode therefore hampering the performance. Disable it by right clicking the battery symbol from the tray and selecting the Desktop Mode Battery Charge.
