What is your WLAN Router Model?

have you tried to reset it?

latest Firmware for your Router is installed?

have you tried a different WLAN Channel? don't leave it at Auto.

i will not ask you if you turned off and on your Router.

I've tested the killer card on other wifi networks, and the wireless problems persisted. Using ethernet, however, solves the problem. Other devices work well on both of the networks that I tried, so I don't think that my router is the problem, but as you suggested I went ahead and updated the firmware on my router (I have reset it and used different channels). The router model is MI424WR, and it's a Verizon router. The firmware update was a good idea though, my download and upload speeds are higher than they were. As of now, I haven't tried playing a game yet (most of the ping spikes come during high internet usage), but the ping for google ran for a few minutes and didn't spike, so that's a definite improvement.

Well, only a very similar card will work with those antennas. I suggest you stick to same protocols and channel bindings (ie 2x2). For example ... 802.11 a/b/g/n (2x2) + Bluetooth Combo 4.0 HS - MiniPCIe 2T/2R 300mb

But again, that's just an example ... I don't know what specs your original Killer card had.

Finally, if you got the Intel-6300 card off of eBay for $5-$10, now you know what it was so cheap.  People often sell their flaky cards on eBay and pretend they didn't know.

The Intel Centrino 6300 was the card that many Killer Wireless N 1103 users had switched to, and there were drivers for it on the Dell website. I got the card for about $20, which was the price that a lot of the people switching quoted, so I assumed there wouldn't be a problem.

After playing a few games the ping spikes seemed to have stopped, but I'll keep updating this if it returns. I'm a bit confused by how a firmware update fixing a problem that seemed to be just with my computer, but so far everything seems good.

well, i have my Asus AC Router since 2015 and am still getting Firmware Updates. they are most of the Time Compatibility Updates or Stability Improvement Updates.

and if you have Troubles again, Pull the Power Plug for your Router. basically, Power Drain can solve alot of Problems. and i am not joking this Time.

Alright so the problem is back again. I'm seriously considering the possibility that the antennae are switched or something because it seems completely like a localized wireless adapter problem, and considering that it carried over even when I switched cards I'm wondering if it's worth it to try switching the antennae.

Doubt it's a router issue at this point, every other device has great internet and every time I use ethernet, no problem. Also when I tried other networks the problem persisted.

If you haven't swapped to Intel card, do it now (after uninstalling any Killer software).

Mark antennas if not different colors.

Take a phone pic of antennas before disconnecting them (like you should have already done)

I know, antenna connectors are lame. However, you know they are making contact because if you leave them dis-connected, you get nothing (try for yourself).

If you have already installed Intel card a while back, then get and try a different (working) one.

after Router Reset the Antennas are good but then some Time later the Antennas are suddenly Switched / Damaged.

if there is something wrong with the U.FL Antennas you should have noticed it long Time ago. bad Signal and bad Transfer Rate would be the Result.

right Click on your Wifi Symbol in the Taskbar > Network Center > Adapter Settings (Left Upper Corner) > Double Click on your WIFI Connection, then please Post a Screenshot.
