Two beep code error in this system indicates RAM failure as the memory is not getting detected. I recommend that you can try this system's memory modules on any other system to test there functionality or what you can do is try a good know memory on this system on all slots one by one to check if the original memory is faulty or the memory slots on the motherboard. Make sure that the graphics card is removed while trying this.

If the memory modules and memory slot tested OK, then the issue is either with the graphics card or the graphics card slot. You can isolate that in the similar fashion as you test the memory. Keep me posted with the results.

Alright, but I don't have another computer, yet.

So I can't test the ram. 

its a DDR3 ram holder in the PC, my Emachiens is either a DDR1 or DDR2.

So, I can't really do anything unless I figure a way to TRY to fix the Ram, or I could have to buy a new one.

Any other suggestions?

I just tried the graphics card removal and test, Still does the  beeps.

Thank you for sharing the information. You can try using one RAM and testing it on all the memory slots to check if you are able to boot or not. If the first memory module doesn't work, then try with the another memory module and check if you are able to boot. If the issue still persist, then its either the RAM which has failed or the memory slot on the motherboard. Before swapping or replacing the motherboard, I recommend that if you can arrange for an alternate good known memory to test the system, if not you can purchase it. It will help you isolate the fault.

hi, I have bout dell 560 motherboard with processor E5700 ,before I put the motherboard in the case I tested it ,I contacted power supply and memory card 8mb and monitor  and I turned it on,there where 2 beep code ,I thought it was the RAM so I removed the RAM and the two beep is still on and I didn't see any thing on the monitor ,I contact the sealer and he told me that the  motherboard take only 2mb card on each slit ,may be he is right ,but ,the motherboard send 2 beep code even without memory card, it suppose not to send any beep ,but, what's hipping is the beep is still on with or without memory card,is something wrong with the motherboard ? shall I send it back? please advice me,thank you.

thank you for responding ,may I ask you something, as I know if you used the motherboard without memory card the will not boot and in the same time there will be no beep, the beep happens when there is problem with one of the memory cards or graphic card,but, if there beep without any memory card or graphic card that's mean there is problem with the motherboard,right? that's what I was looking for,thank you.

OK, I got pc inspiron 530 I have changed the old power supply 300W with other 775W and I add graphic card gtx750 and 4gb memory card everything is good,I wanted to update the motherboard,do I choosed the inspiron 560 to use it instead of the 530,every thing is under control ,even the back panel the only thing that stopped me is the front panel USB connectors plugs and the front-panel connector(switch on) are they the same? I mean can I contact them without problems because they are the same in the 530 / 560? thank you.

Beep codes for the 560 motherboard are on page 25, here.

Dell typically uses a custom connector between the front panel and the motherboard in each model and they don't make the wiring info publicly available. So I have no way to know if the front panel on the 530 case is wired the same way as the 560 motherboard.

Search these forums to see if anyone has posted about installing a 560 board in a 530 case. Otherwise, you'll have to map the wiring yourself or find somebody to do it for you...
