The audio input on my E520 is not working.  FYI, the PC came with the Sound Blaster Audigy HD Software Edition.  The volume adjustment for "line in" is disabled and non-functional.  I updated the SigmaTel drivers *before* I tried using the audio input jack so I do not know if it was functional in its original state.

 

Does anyone know if updating the SigmaTel drivers can mess up the Audigy software installation or what other possible causes for this problem might be?
