Restore BIOS
I fooled around and got burned by trying to upgrade from A09, thinking it may resolve the "Disabled BIOS" message I am getting on my GX1. When I attempted to install the A10 BIOS download, an error message said that A10 was not compatible to my system (P-III, 600Mhz). I though I had read the description from the Dell download page carefully. Didn't realize that A10 wouldn't work. I took the chance because the darn thing won't successfully boot anyway.
Any suggestions folks?

- The "disabled bios" probably means you have an Adaptec SCSI controller in the system and don't have any scsi harddrives connected. This would be normal in that case. Other IDE/SATA/SCSI controllers may show similar messages. If you're not using the storage controller in question, you could remove the card from the system, or just ignore the message.
