Restore BIOS

I fooled around and got burned by trying to upgrade from A09, thinking it may resolve the "Disabled BIOS" message I am getting on my GX1.  When I attempted to install the A10 BIOS download, an error message said that A10 was not  compatible to my system (P-III, 600Mhz).  I though I had read the  description from the Dell download page carefully.  Didn't realize that A10 wouldn't work.  I took the chance because the darn thing won't successfully boot anyway.
 
Any suggestions folks?

    Put an older slower cpu in and downgrade to A07.

    266 to 500mhz

    P2 266 cpus are very cheap.

    The "disabled bios" probably means you have an Adaptec SCSI controller in the system and don't have any scsi harddrives connected. This would be normal in that case. Other IDE/SATA/SCSI controllers may show similar messages. If you're not using the storage controller in question, you could remove the card from the system, or just ignore the message.

    Bios messages about Not compatable have to do with Wrong Bios choice for board.


    GX1 is NOT EQUAL to G1 is NOT EQUAL to GXi
