UNSOLVED
Unknown device
I did a fresh install of Windows 7 64-bit on my Inspirion 570 and have an unknown device listed in device manager. I've downloaded what I thought was all the drivers. i even installed a driver program which found a few. Still listed as unknown device. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you for your help. There wasn't a choice of device id. There was hardware id which I assume is the same. This is what is listed.

Everything on the tower is working (usb ports, sound, card reader, etc..). Is there a way to just remove it from the device manager list?

That might be a Bluetooth card or adapter. Check Dell's Inspiron 570 page and determine if such hardware was furnished with the model.

Theres no installed Bluetooth Device there. I think that one is for Bluetooth.

I hope this step help you to remove it from device manager.
To remove a device in Windows Device Manager follow the below steps.
1. Open Windows Device Manager.
2. Once in Device Manager click the '+' symbol next to the device type you wish to remove. For example, if you're looking for the video card you would click the '+' next to Display adapters to view each of the video cards installed in the computer.
3. Finally, highlight the device you wish to remove and press the delete key on your keyboard or click Action and then Uninstall.
