Wide Screen settings help

Our engineering office runs computer systems with dual monitors.  all monitors are the 4:3??? "standard" flatscreen LCD's.... only one has a widescreen.....

problem with widescreen is it distorts the display.  if we draw a square box, it looks like a rectangle.....  i cant find a display setting to turn off widescreen format...

any help would be appreciated...

thanks

Hello Rippinc21, I have a 24 inch wide flat panel monitor as well and the screen stretches some of the images.

You didn't mention which video card or monitors you have, but you may have some settings in the system display settings that will enable you to do some changes to the screen image.

If you are able to change the setting to 4:3, you may see some black borders on each side.

You can play around with these settings and see if you find one that is acceptable.

    Hope this helps
