5150 Processor

Sorry if this has been asked before but I cant find it anywhere.
I have a I5150 works fine has BIOS Version A37!+ the downloaded Intel HyperThreading Drivers from the dell downloads, but unfortunatly when I go into the hardware profile now there is only 1 processor when as a HT laptop it should have 2 "LOGICAL" processors, since this was done the laptop does not perform to its maximum! When playing games the speed is significantly lower, even when browsing the net its slower, to open IE or firefox,
When I right click My Computer, it shows 3.06GHz but with only 866Mhz underneath it.
Sorry for the long winded description but I thought it would be more helpful. I want to get the laptop back to its top performance, plus Ive tried uninstalling Processor Drivers and changin config of the bios Nothing works

Do you have XP Pro? Only XP Pro will show 2 CPU's, or Windows 2000, the CPU is made to run at different speeds depending on how you set the power scheme, if you want it to run at full speed just set the power scheme to always on

    Steve1077,

I think you are mistaken. My XP home desktop shows two processors in system properties.
