After playing a game for about 10-20 minutes the screen becomes covered with blue garbage.

I have seen posts on this before but have been unable to find them.

I can't seem to figure out the problem as I have tried re-installing the ATI video drivers, installing the old ATI video drivers, and even tried the omega drivers. All still have this problem. I also tried re-installing direct x just incase. I even tried formating and the problem was still present.

Nothing seems to work. Could my video card just be failing?

I have had a very large amount of trouble with my laptop overheating. I have had to open my balcony door and the window my laptop sits infront of to create a freezing cold tunnel of wind just to play games and it still overheats. And I am not overexagirating when i say it was freezing as my hands seriously went numb from the cold. The cpu overheats when i run disk cleanup.

If the laptop can't operate without overheating in the middle of Canadian winter then should I expect it to overheat instantly upon pressing the on button during summer.

Also my power adapter ticks like a time bomb and NO it's not because the power adapter is faulty it is the laptop somehow damaging the power adapter as this is the 3rd adapter which has done this.

I am definately going to send my laptop away to hopefully get my video card, cpu, and power system replaced but I am looking for a temporary fix if any until this semester ends as my laptop is mandatory for my course in order to do labs and take tests.
