I own a Dell Inspiron 8000 Laptop. My video card is Nvidia GeForce2 Go. PROBLEM:- each time I start my Laptop my computer/video card will NOT REMEMBER THE BRIGHTNESS SETTING that I choose so I have to re-set it every time I start the computer. I have to go into Twin View-Device Settings-Colour Correction-then move the brightness control to where I want it. When I click APPLY/OK it will not be SAVED...every time I start the computer I have to go through the whole process again. When I was in warranty Dell had a fix for this but when I email them they direct me to their support page which DOES NOT DESCRIBE THE PROBLEM. I have used the fix before and it works but it was so long ago I have forgotten how to find it. I have the latest drivers for the video card....please reply...this is driving me crazy!! I have installed the latest video card driver as well as the latest Bios....still the same problem.
