I live in Singapore. Dell is based in Malaysia. My Dell Inspiron 4150 is 20 months old and hardly used (it has always has a power-up problem). Now Dell says the motherboard must be replaced...at HALF the price of the original computer. I am totally fed up and totally unconvinced by Dell. How can a motherboard have a life of 12 months? Is this a familiar theme elsewhere?

Grateful for any feedback from anyone...Dell included!
