F8 crt/lcd problem
I accidently pressed Function F8 crt/lcd while I was typing in Word and my screen has gone to 500%. i've tried to get back to 100%, pressed F8 crt/lcd again, checked display settings and rebooted but in all programs (Word, Excel etc) the screen displays everythingat 500% zoom.
Can anyone help me revert the display to normal? Thanks Mike

Thanks will try that.Mike, I have this exact same issue with my D630. Has been the case since Day 1 I purchased it. Anytime I try to use Fn CRT/LCD it gets locked in a Zoom mode (like the key is stuck) and the only way out is to reboot. Have you been successful in determining what the issue is? I have searched high and low on Dell and the Internet and have not had any luck.

search for Type32 process and kill it. type32 is a Microsoft Intellitype 6.3 process. It should fix your zooming problem.why:
Microsoft Intellitype 6.3 seems to map its zooming function to yes when you type fn-f8.
Disabling the Zooming functionality in the control panel applet or removing Microsoft Intellitype 6.3 permanently cures the erratic zooming problem.

If not, did you try Fn+F7?
Nevermind. Rereading your post, seems to be a setting in MS Office.
Have you tried asking this question in the Office/Works Forum?
