HELP!!!!!
I recently purchased a Dell Inspiron 1720 Laptop.
Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T5450 (2MB cache/1.66GHz/667Mhz FSB)
I received it in January and almost immediately it would reboot randomly during regular use, sometimes while surfing the internet and also while running certain programs. It reboots automatically when I run the Dell Integrated Webcam Center (every time). It has been doing this ever since I first got it a month ago and I don't know how to fix it!?!! It has also turned to the blue screen System Halted about 3 times since I've recieved the laptop...
It can be very frustrating for it to reboot while you're in the middle of doing something.. If anyone knows what's wrong or how to fix it.. please help me!.. (I have already turned off the "Automatically reboot during system failure" in System> Hardware.. etc.. I followed the prompts that Dell Troubleshooting gave me but it still does it! Please help.

I'm running on Vista. It reboots every time the program is opened, it also reboots during internet surfing and even while running Messenger. It often reboots as well while running Windows Media Player (11) watching a video or even playing music. It is basically a random occurrance (except for the Dell Integrated Webcam program)

What is the operating system you are using ?
if it restarts every single time you try to open the webcam center , maybe it's something wrong with the Camera , not necesairly a faulty cam , maybe just something is out of it's position , if you can format and do a clean installation to your OS , maybe while installing the camera driver it will give your the same error , then you will be sure it's the cam .
