well i am really into computer gaming and i love music so i gess i need a computer with a lot of memory to hold all my music files, but i also need a fast computer and i only have bout $1000 if that much and im lookin for a good deal

Your best option is to wait for a really good deal and get an Inspiron 9300 with the upgraded Video card for gaming and 100 gb Hard drive and 1024mb of ram.
or: (Cheaper)
Go for a Dimension 4700 Desktop with the same Upgraded Video Card 1024mb of ram, and Big Hard drive.

You really have to choose between a Desktop or Laptop first.
Laptops are ALOT more expensive than Desktops are so you will get alot more sytem for your money buying a desktop.

rite i no that i want a desk top FOR SURE laptops r too expensive and i heard they break real easy.....unfortunatly for me i only have about $1000 of play money and not a whole lot of knowledge about computers except i no that i need 1 despretly for school work and of course for play :) and i dont like the big chunky monitor kind i like the flat panel monitors (more space efficent) i wonder if u can achieve these standards for as lil money as i have..........

Memory isn't what holds music, it's hard disk. If you only have $1,000, there is no computer that Dell makes that fits your budget and plays games well. Only the 9300 and XPS are game playing computers. You can buy a 600m on sale, or a 6000, but neither is a great gaming machine.
