M60-found new hardware "Base System Device"???
i have a precision M60 and every time i boot it up it keeps telling me that it found new hardware and it is the base system device. also if i go into my Device Manager there is a question mark next to Base system device and PCI Modem? does anyone know what this is about?

- i really got sick of it and was having other issues with my M-60 so i wiped it clean and re-installed windows. that did fix that problem, there has to be a easier fix though. i sure that is not what you wanted to hear but that did fix it. sorry i cant help.

I am getting the same thing, just started after the Warranty expired? Have tried all the Driver CD's I got with the system with no driver found. Checked the Dell Driver Download page with no results. I hope that somebody at Dell will reply to this plead for HELP!!
