Vostro 1200 -- Bluetooth Module A2DP Support ?
Hi,
Does Vostro 1200 Bluetooth Module support A2DP ? (Dell Bluetooth 355)
I am trying to pair my Nokia BH501 BT Headset, but the machine does not recognise the headset in the BT Search Wizard.
Please can you advise if there is a saperate patch or s/w that needs to be installed to pair Bluetooth Stereo headsets.

Hi All,
After spending an entire day searching for the proper technic to pair the device, finally managed to get thru and now i can use the headset to listen to music
Steps taken to Pair the device:
1. Installed the latest drivers from Dell Support website.
2. disabled the Internal Speakers
3. Re-setted the Pairing History from the Bluetooth Headset.
4. Enable the option: Allow other BT Devices to see your computer under Bluetooth Devices in Control Panel.
After the above steps, the Laptop could see the BT Heatset and could Pair.
5. Set the BT Stereo Headset as the Default Sound Device.
and i could hear music thru the headset.
After searching on this topic so much, i've found some very interesting facts abt the Bluetooth Hardware thats' used in the laptop. Supposed to be the BEST in class for Power efficiency and Size !!
All working well now.
