ChrisM, does the A03 even exist?
Hi there... I've just got off the phone with Dell Aussie and the lady there refuses to acknowledge that the 2407 A03 even exists... As a result, Dell are shipping me another (my 4th) 2407 in the hope that the known problems with the A02 somehow, magically, won't affect this one.
So, if A03 exists, I'm perfectly happy to keep my A02 until the A03 is available and they can ship me one of those, or else I will have to keep exchanging my 2407 at the rate of once a week until the A03s filter through.
I want to get the monitor I paid for, and I don't want to have to exchange a monitor a week to do it... Too hard for Dell?
If Dell Australia won't even acknowledge that the A03 exists - I don't see what choice I have.

- i think ill put myself into cryogenic stasis untill dell gets 2407 A03 in australia. it be nice if they would even admit it exists, as it clearly does..... what else can i say im getting impatient too, maybe i just get another n keep sending it back like you there, atleast ill have a 24" then :@
- Tenn, where is that? Germany? It would be cool to know if Europe has received any A03's, since I live in Sweden. I talked to Dell before the weekend and my replacement monitor is supposed to arrive in about 2½ weeks. Yes, that is quite a while, but he said that he could guarantee a perfectly new--just out of the factory--monitor if I was willing to wait. So I took my chances. :P If I do get a A03, then we pretty much know that they are being distributed worldwide, give or take. We've heard about Japan, US and now Tenn (wherever that is). Maybe even more? My memory eludes me.

-tretton - I just placed an order for a 2407 by phone: I called Dell Canada and asked them if there was any way to confirm the revision I would get if i placed an order now. The girl said she already had to answer that question today and the answer is a03, because all the 2407's left are a03s.
Given that answer, and the fact that the 2407 just went down by 150$ on Dell Canada, I placed my order. The other little quirks of the screen dont bother me at all compared to banding. AssyrianKing

Hi all,
Just spoke to DELL Australia, was advised they are selling A02, i asked when they will stock A03, and then was told the A03 is only for US.
that is just sad! DELL take the cake for taking people money and giving them there "write off" stock.

She _HAS_ seen the threads here and has seen the photos but maintains that the only "evidence" posted in thses forums for the existence of the A03 is posted by customers, not the officials.
The nearest I found to an official statement was the laughable comment from ChrisM that A03 is only an OSD update... (I know I know - don't shoot the messenger :-)
