Dell E193FP

Hi,
 
I'm about to purchase the Dimension 8400 and am wondering if the "free" 19" flat panel display is a decent monitor or if it should be avoided.  If anyone has any feedback on its performance or lack thereof, I'd appreciate your comments. 
 
Also, as far as digital and analog displays go, is there any difference other than a sharper image?  Any comments/suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks, Joan

    I would suggest 1704 FPT. A digital monitor works well with an DVI video card, and the higher quality the video card the sharper the picture.

    Graphics hold up well with the E193FP but viewing text is terrible.  No amount of adjustments help and Dell support doesn't stand behind the quality of this monitor.

    Get a different model.

    Text is horrible on the E193FP.  Do not get it.
