S3221QS, translucent gray border
I bought in October 2020 Dell monitor S3221QS in Czech Republic. I used it for daily home office work as IT professional and intermittently for PS5 games around 9 hours per day until 3 weeks ago. One day I as usual start my Dell Latitude 5401 with Windows 10 with dark screen mode. In the Microsoft Teams and Google Chrome in dark mode I saw first time. On right and left side appeared something like translucent gray line and next day on the top.
I opened the case with Dell support Czech Republic: They confirmed the monitor replacement due to warranty so next day I received refurbished S3221QS from UPS.
But, the refurbished monitor had worse translucent gray lines all the way around. So I call back that they can picked up back the refurbished monitor and I want another or the New.
Once I returned the refurbished monitor, the Dell technician declined my request, that's white bleeding and close the case. From their internal point of view, white bleeding is not hardware problem but property of all DELL models.
But again I wrote them that's not white bleeding because is happening mostly only with gray color, during BDI is not visible so much, maybe little bit with RED color. But affected is mostly only gray or dark gray (ie Google Chrome or Microsoft teams with dark mode or PS5 ). Light in the room hasn't affect on it as well brightness or contrast or color modes in the monitor setting.
I tried on different devices - PS5, Dell Latitude 5401, MacBook Pro with different HDMI cables - nothing changed.
I recorded the issue my cellphone:

What I can do next?

With BDI is visible only with the gray colour as mostly on operating systems. BLUE/RED/GREEN/BLACK/White is OK. So it's hardware issue. It isn't light bleeding, because on the black screen is not visible or white. Same behaviour during sunny day, with lamp on the table, night.
thx,
Regards.

A New exchanged monitor is only allowed inside the first 30 days from the Dell invoice date.
The videos only show in operating system usage. Post pictures of the S3221QS disconnected from all video cables while running the Self-Test and Built-in diagnostics. Pages 61-62 in the online S3221QS User's Guide.
